A doll's size cream coloured, cotton lace, dress with long sleeves. The dress is constructed from alternate layers of cream lace (needle) and bands of cream cotton. The lace is possibly 'needle' lace as it has coarse woven construction unlike bobbin lace which has a finer quality. The dress is open all the way down the back and the edges are hemmed with wide stitches indicating that the dress is possibly handmade and unfinished.
