Summary description

Music stand c.1800, the mahogany lyre-shaped top veneered with satinwood and inlaid with musical marquetry in the centre, cornucopia each side. Seven metal rods form the central support. Metal adjustable swivel on turned terminal with satinwood knob. Hexagonal stem tapered to scrolled tripod foot, satinwood banding extending from the feet up three sides of the stem.
