Man’s coat. Scarlet milled wool tail coat (High Sheriff’s uniform) with black cuffs and stand collar. Decorated with silver gilt embroidery of acorns and oak leaves. Two rows of ten silver crested buttons. Coat tails lined with cream milled wool with two pockets set into the tails. Body of jacket lined with silk twill, sleeves lined with cotton. Collar and cuffs lined with black silk twill.
