Woman’s dress. Black silk and cotton Richlieu lace evening dress inset with black silk taffeta. Bodice has a shallow V-neck at the front and deep V down to back waist with full, three quarter length sleeves with fold-back cuffs. Flared skirt with train, opening CB with fine black silk placket fastening with eight metal hooks and eyes. Dress originally fully lined with cream silk gauze with an additional cream silk taffeta lining to the skirt. Skirt currently lined with mauve figured rayon. Fragments of cream silk taffeta remain in waistband and fragments of gauze found throughout.
