Larger tassle from the original scheme, by Jeffrey Wyatt, for the Red Drawing Room. Probably for the curtains the tassle has a fine cut silk skirt with pink-crimson string beneath. The wooden mould has evidence of alternating black wool and pink-crimson silk striping beneath pale gold net. The four decorative hangers that have been reproduced in the NT scheme are no longer in existence.
