One of a pair of gilt eagle head spurs, part of a collection of military accessories to go with the uniform T/497. Including, a) a black leather sabretache, b) Black leather belt with gilt buckle and rectangular pouch for ammunition, c) Two black leather harnesses, with gilt lion head buckles, d) Four gilt shoulder pads, e) 3 horsehair plumes - one black, one red and white and one short plume of white feathers (damaged by moth), f) pair of steel spurs, g) Pair of gilt eagle head spurs, h) decorative black cord sash.
