A black satin dress, probably en suite with CAL/T/350, with pleated white muslin full length sleeves. Tailored high-waisted bodice with low cut front, probably worn over a muslin bodice. The front edges and edges of open fronted skirt are trimmed with satin, i.e. worn over an under-skirt, probably CAL/T/348 ? . The back is gathered in a bustle. The sleeves are decorated with gilt metal bands with knops, one band pinned, the cuff of black satin cut in five pointed lapetts, edged with gold braid. Gathered white satin pads the uppermost part of the sleeve under the muslin.
