Summary description

Oil painting on canvas, Lady Harriet Louise Mary Ann Julia Lowry-Corry, Countess of Sandwich (1781–1862) by Hugh Douglas Hamilton (Dublin 1736 – Dublin 1808). A half-length portrait of a lady in a black dress, her left hand up to her head and left elbow on a table, her right arm by her side. The prime original was in the collection of the Earls of Sandwich, but was destroyed by fire, together with other pictures removed from Mapperton to allow for filming to take place in 1990s.
