Oil painting on canvas, Dorothea Elizabeth Irving, Lady Brunner (1904-2003) by Barbara West (London 1898 - Bristol 1986), signed lower left, BarbaraWets, circa 1960s. Portrait of Lady Brunner looking up and smiling at the viewer. The artist, also an actress as her maiden name Barbara Horder her acting career by training at the Central School of Speech and Drama and was a lifetime friend of Elizabeth Irving, granddaughter of actor Sir Henry Irving, who later became Lady Elizabeth Brunner.
