Summary description

South American hand screen feather fan in box. One of a similar pair with NT18632.1. Circa 1900. White feathers in a circular shape decorated with irridescent beetles and a red humming bird, with carved and turned ivory handle, and stand (NT18631.4). In a mint green box with lid (NT18631.2-3) labelled; / FEATHER FLOWERS / DOMINGOS LDE CUNHA / 14 RUA DA ASSEMBLEA / RIO DE JANEIRO /.
