Vile & Cobb (fl. 1750 - 1765)
A George III mahogany writing desk by William Vile and John Cobb, with moulded border to the almost serpentine top, a drawer in the centre containing a writing slide above three drawers and flanked by eight drawers to each pedestal on moulded plinth base.
Made by William Vile and John Cobb. Loaned to The National Trust by The Croome Heritage Trust in December 2007.
