Silver rococo style case, hinged with embossed decoration all over of flowing scroll and other designs to the lid. The body has scenes of a lady holding a mirror and a seated classical man with a lady at his side. Opens to reveal interior compartments containing eleven instruments. Instruments consist of hexagonal silver holder within another, flat silver needle, two steel knife blades, pair of scissors with silver handles, compass part, hinged silver rule, two pronged steel fork, steel needle, tapering silver blade and shallow silver spoon.
Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
