Summary description

Circular wooden baby walker consisting of large wooden ring at the base on six castors. Smaller ring above supported by three struts with hinged opening. 'Baby-minder on castors of a style introduced in the 17th century' (M. Jessup).

Given to the National Trust with Snowshill Manor in 1951 by Charles Paget Wade.
