Leather Crupper. A leather crupper, damaged at one end. Half way along is a leather holding loop, a piece of leather under it is broken off. At the damaged end is a second leather holding loop. The leather at the end that went around the tail is damaged and parts are missing. Repairs to the strap have been made with cord stitching.
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973
