Brocade jacket dated to 2nd quarter of 20th century. Fabric of deep pink and white silk brocade, weft brocading on warp faced satin ground. Design of leaf and flower repeat. Trimmed with ten diamonte buttons; and heavy zip. Lined with deep pink synthetic, plain weave. Hand and machine sewn. Possibly fancy dress.
Given by Phillip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
