A brass-inlaid beech chair, early 19th century, part of a pair, the other chair an open armchair. The broad curving toprail inlaid with brass lines and above a stuff-over seat covered in woolen needlework and velvet. Raised on turned and tapering front legs and outswept tapering rear legs.
Given by Philip Yorke III (1905-1978) along with the estate, house and contents to the National Trust in 1973.
